Insurer Sued EMC Mortgage Over Bad Loans In Mortgage Securitization

 

In an opinion dated March 25, 2008 The Hon. Paul A. Crotty, Federal District Court Judge for the Southern District of New York, issued an opinion granting bond insurer Syncora Guarantee partial summary judgment against former Bear Stearns (and current JPMorgan Chase) subsidiary EMC Mortgage.  Wall Street Law Blog will address the case in a subsequent post.  You can read the opinion now, however, via the link below.
